The Different Needs of Tortoises. There was a man used to post here who kept different species of Tortoises together in a large yard also with no problem. It is suggested not to but I personally have done it with no problem and in the Summer when I put mine outside Ill be keeping a very young Three Toed with a Cherry Head who are the same age in a small outdoor enclosure.
I would only do this with hatchlings that. There are some parasites and organisms that are common on certain species or tortoise and dont harm them. Yet those same organisms can be deadly to different species of tortoises.
Its best not to mix two or more tortoise species together even if you believe yours are all parasite and dangerous organism-free. Be generous with space. This way you can limit the tortoises physical and visual contact.
Aggressive pushy behavior in mating season is normal but wild females might try to get away from the males. So another option if you want multiple Russian Tortoises is to have more than one terrarium and only put the tortoises together every so often. If you have the climate and the room for outdoor reptile enclosures you can put compatible species together in large spaces.
Bearded dragons can share space with tortoises as they do in Wisconsins Lincoln Park Zoo. These reptiles primarily consume a diet of fruit and vegetables so can share each others meals. The bearded dragon also requires some insects to munch on once or twice weekly.

In the country the species occurs in the Baly Bay areas dry forests. There are about 440 to 770 individuals of the species surviving in the wild and the number is rapidly falling. It is estimated that if the drastic decline in the population of this species is not checked the Angonoka tortoise.

The two species inhabit different parts of the island. They might be just 20 kilometres apart but they are as different from each other as any other tortoises in the archipelago says Caccone. To get a hybrid animal two animals from different species but from the same genus must be crossed.
The resulting animal will be a hybrid. This does not happen very often in nature and most hybrid animals are sterile but imagine the possibilities. If the tortoise story had followed the pattern of Darwins famous finches they would have evolved a different species on each of the islands.
Then after subsequent accidental driftings from. Can some different species live together for example can reds live with yellows. Thank you Craig.
